Printable Freebie: Sewjo Quicklist!
Hey you! It’s time for another freebie!
Have you ever just… lost your gusto when it comes to sewing? This happens to me sooo often, and it’s such a hard funk to get out of.
I’ll be swimming in inspiration and even buying new patterns (or collecting more free ones), and yet my motivation to actually go to my table, project a pattern, cut the fabric and then sew up all the pretty things is totally and utterly gone. [screams internally]
I got the idea a while ago to keep a list of short-but-sweet patterns to remind myself of when the sewjo is way low. Having a list of at-the-ready ideas is a lot easier than untangling my brain about which new pattern to use that I might not be ambitious enough to take on. I like to jot down the names of sewing patterns that I know have been quick and easy in the past, and write a little beside that pattern to remind myself of why I loved to make it. This way, when I’m feeling down, I can look at this list and maybe — possibly — get the ball rolling again.
